About the Role:
The Accounts Payable Financial Transaction Processor position at CommonSpirit involves overseeing the end-to-end process of accounts payable transactions from receipt to payment. Key responsibilities include managing documents, producing checks, validating data with OCR technology, processing invoices, and interacting with customers. To excel in this position, one should possess exceptional organizational skills, proficiency in using Oracle EBS, and a keen eye for detail. We are seeking someone who can effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee the processing of all invoices for Virginia Mason Franciscan Hospital and regional medical centers in Puget Sound.
* Ensure that accounts payable-related mail is processed accurately and efficiently according to set procedures and protocols.
* Supervise the preparation and scanning of incoming invoices, statements, and correspondence.
* Direct the distribution of mail to specific accounts payable personnel and facilitate daily mail collection and delivery, including expedited packages.
* Manage check production for on-site runs and strive to provide premium customer service.

Necessary Skills:
* Minimum 3+ years of combined experience in accounts payable invoice processing.
* Completion of high school education; completion of Associate's or Bachelor's degree is desired.
* In-depth understanding of accounts payable transaction processing methods and techniques is beneficial.
* Previous work experience within a large-scale healthcare organization is welcome.
* Dexterity in navigating complex systems, including Oracle EBS, is necessary for efficient task management.
* Demonstrated capability to work under pressure, maintain high standards of accuracy, and successfully collaborate with other teams members.
* Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and offering actionable insights to improve efficiency.
