Job Description: Financial Transactions Clerk Role

Estimated Salary Range: $26-$30 per hour

About the Job

LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Financial Transactions Clerk to assist with accounts payable duties for our client in Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Invoicing and Payment Processing:
  • Review and verify invoices for accuracy, proper documentation, and approval.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and packing slips.
  1. Data Entry and Record Keeping:
  • Enter invoice and payment data into the accounting system.
  • Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
  1. Vendor Relations and Compliance:
  • Communicate with vendors regarding billing issues, payment status, and account updates.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal departments.
  1. Reporting and Compliance:
  • Assist in preparing accounts payable reports and month-end close activities.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and financial procedures.
Requirements

We require:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of basic accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle), and excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
