Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Resilient Healthcare.

  • Assist physical therapists in direct patient care, following established plans of care and ensuring proper sterilization and safety procedures.
  • Prepare engaging exercises and activities for patients, providing counseling and consultations as needed.
  • Review patient files prior to appointments, ensuring a clear understanding of challenges to be addressed.
  • Complete required documentation in a timely manner, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education courses, advancing personal knowledge and experience within the field.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas.
  • Proficient in computer software used for documentation and report preparation.
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy required.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws.
  • Experienced in handling sensitive patient records and information.
  • Physical endurance and ability to work primarily in a standing position, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrates a friendly and professional demeanor in interactions with patients, family members, or staff.
  • Accountability and attention to detail essential for handling and documenting medical information.
