Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Krum/Ponder, TX. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop engaging exercises and activities to facilitate speech sessions with patients.
  • Provide counseling and consultations for new patients, their family members, and caregivers.
  • Create personalized goals and objectives for patients to work towards and identify areas of progress and challenges.
  • Lead and support speech-language pathologist assistants in their roles.
  • Maintain proper sterilization and safety procedures for speech pathology equipment and exam rooms.
  • Review patient files prior to appointments and ensure a clear understanding of the challenge to be addressed.
  • Pursue ongoing education and professional development to advance knowledge and experience within the field.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and licensure in the State of Texas.
  • Proficiency in computer software used for documentation and report preparation.
  • A Master's degree in speech-language pathology is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws.
  • Experience handling sensitive patient records and information.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting common software and hardware challenges related to speech pathology tools.
  • Physical endurance and ability to work primarily in a standing position.
  • A friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and processes to patients.
  • Attention to detail when handling and documenting medical information.
