Communications Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Resilient Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Practice

• Develop and implement engaging exercises and activities for speech therapy sessions with patients.
• Provide counseling and consultations for new patients, their family members, and caregivers.
• Create personalized goals and objectives for patients to work toward and identify areas of progress and challenges.
• Supervise speech-language pathologist assistants to ensure comprehensive understanding of office management.
• Prepare speech pathology equipment and exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and safety protocols.
• Review patient files prior to appointments and have a clear understanding of the challenge to be addressed.
• Pursue ongoing education and training to advance personal knowledge and experience within the field.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and Licensed in the State of Texas.
• Proficiency in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation.
• Master's degree in speech-language pathology is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws.
• Experience working with sensitive patient records and information.
• Ability to troubleshoot common software and hardware issues related to speech pathology tools.
• Physical endurance to work primarily in a standing position.
• A friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures to patients.
• Accountability and attention to detail when handling medical information.

Estimated Salary Range:

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
