About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join our team at Bank of America. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and financial solutions to our complex Global Commercial Banking clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an extensive portfolio of clients and prospects with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion, helping them save, borrow, and invest for their current and future needs.
  • Acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships.
  • Understand and interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with domestic and international teammates throughout the bank, including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management, to design and deliver financial solutions to clients and prospects.
  • Lead and facilitate dialogue with complex clients and prospects regarding topics such as industry trends, alternative capital structures, and general business issues.
  • Coach and mentor peers, utilizing leadership skills to drive business growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in sales practices and broader market and industry conditions to adapt and innovate.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in broad-based commercial lending/corporate finance/relationship management.
  • Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships, and closing profitable transactions.
  • Strong corporate finance, capital markets, and accounting acumen, with financial modeling experience and formal credit training preferred.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & 63 licenses required within 180 days of start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, with an MBA desirable.
  • Existing knowledge of the market and active participation in local community organizations.
  • Established networking contacts and Centers of Influence in the market.
