**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Portfolio Manager Team Lead to join our Franchise Finance team at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the execution of credit facilities for new and existing customers, predominantly in the Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Underwriters/Portfolio Managers and provide guidance on loan opportunities.
- Evaluate, structure, and review credit memos for proposed and existing credit facilities within the Franchise Finance vertical.
- Assist Relationship Managers and Division Head in developing, recommending, implementing, and monitoring the loan portfolio.
- Manage risk consistent with the Bank's underwriting standards.
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lending, acquired through a minimum of 10+ years related experience.
- Previous experience managing a team of portfolio managers, underwriters, or credit analysts.
- Franchise Finance lending experience strongly preferred.
