Job Summary

Alamance Foods is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing shipments using warehouse software and Bills of Lading (BOL).
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording material or item receipts and distributions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations and effective communication.
  • Utilize Microsoft Teams for coordination and communication within the team.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Assist in physical inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Understand and follow the schedule for item changeovers.
  • Report to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Provide excellent customer service to drivers and visitors.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Proven experience as a warehouse clerk or similar role.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Bills of Lading (BOL) and shipping/receiving documentation.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams for communication and coordination.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
