We are seeking a highly motivated District Outreach & Account Specialist to join our team at School Family Media, LLC. This role will be responsible for promoting our comprehensive supply list management solutions to school districts nationwide.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the K-12 education sector, with experience in CRM tools and HubSpot. They will be responsible for establishing lasting connections with key stakeholders, creating and maintaining data management systems, and executing initiatives aimed at enhancing the long-term adoption of our products.

The District Outreach & Account Specialist will also be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions to help clients maximize their use of TeacherLists services, collaborating with the marketing team to drive engagement with school leaders, and reporting on school engagement metrics to identify growth opportunities and enhance conversion rates.

We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and making warm/cold calls to engage potential clients. The ideal candidate will be excited to advocate for TeacherLists and confident in building rapport with school administrators and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Engage: Reach out to school districts to promote our comprehensive supply list management solutions
  • Build Relationships: Establish lasting connections with key stakeholders to ensure their satisfaction and long-term retention
  • Develop Systems: Create and maintain data management systems that support the customer lifecycle from initial engagement to ongoing support
  • Implement Retention Strategies: Execute initiatives aimed at enhancing the long-term adoption of our products
  • Conduct Product Demonstrations: Deliver engaging training sessions to help clients maximize their use of TeacherLists services
  • Support Marketing Efforts: Collaborate with the marketing team to drive engagement with school leaders, showcasing the value of our solutions
  • Analyze Metrics: Report on school engagement metrics to identify growth opportunities and enhance conversion rates
  • Achieve Goals: Drive the achievement of annual sales and retention targets by nurturing relationships with new and existing clients

Qualifications:

  • Former or current teachers are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in the K-12 education sector strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, preferably HubSpot, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English; fluency in Spanish a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel overnight (4-6 times per year)

Salary: Salaried/Exempt $55K - $65K commensurate with experience
