About the Role

ZTI Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to join our team in Laurel, MD. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, test, and implement new software systems and applications, including engagement optimization algorithms and cross-platform applications for multiple environments.
  • Application Development and Code Review: Provide expert-level application development and code review support for a wide range of projects, from small scripts to large-scale system-of-systems modeling frameworks.
  • Security Assessments: Perform security assessments of commercial and government software, as well as custom-developed applications, using security tools and custom-developed scripts for DoD-approved unclassified projects.
  • Collaboration and Architecture: Collaborate with the security and development teams to architect security solutions for various types of on-premises and cloud-based systems and applications.
  • Team Collaboration: Be part of a highly collaborative team, make critical contributions to challenging problems, and participate in design discussions and software implementation.
Requirements
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
  • Clearance: Secret Clearance
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, experience writing object-oriented software in high-level languages (C++, Java, Python), familiarity with database technology (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB), knowledge of system frameworks (.NET, Git, AngularJS, GitHub), excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience creating and maintaining databases, and experience working with Agile development technologies.
