Position Overview

As a vital part of our retail environment, you will significantly influence the customer experience at Walmart. Your role may often be the first or last interaction a customer has, making your demeanor and approach essential. A warm smile, a friendly greeting, and a sincere thank you are crucial in creating a positive atmosphere.

The work can be fast-paced, particularly during peak hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will need to efficiently manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, including scanning items, clarifying prices, properly bagging purchases, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a tidy workspace.

We seek individuals who are upbeat, capable of multitasking, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
Cashier Duties
  • Provide a welcoming experience by smiling, greeting, and thanking customers.
  • Efficiently process customer transactions while standing for extended periods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide support as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members across the store when required.
Cart and Janitorial Responsibilities
  • Ensure a positive first and last impression for customers.
  • Collect shopping carts from the parking area.
  • Utilize equipment to transport carts into the store.
  • Perform cleaning duties in restrooms, sales floor, and parking lot as necessary.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in all weather conditions.
