As a Residential Community Leader, you will be an independent decision-maker who upholds these high standards, managing all aspects of property operations with strong business acumen and a resident-focused approach.
Your role will be pivotal in recruiting, mentoring, and overseeing a high-performing team.Your primary objective will be to achieve the property’s revenue and profit goals while maintaining exemplary customer service standards and high resident retention rates.
This dynamic position reports to a Regional Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
TEAM LEADERSHIP
Recruit, inspire, and develop a diverse and high-performing staff.
Provide coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback.
Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT
Develop, implement, and take ownership of the property’s operational budget.
Utilize property management software to generate and analyze reports, ensuring the property operates within budgetary constraints while identifying cost-saving and revenue-generating opportunities.
Manage customer collections and initiate legal proceedings when necessary.PROPERTY OPERATIONS
Ensure occupancy levels meet budgeted expectations at competitive rental rates.
Conduct property inspections and facilitate corporate or investor tours.
Collaborate with the on-site professional team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new residents.
MARKETING & SALES
Execute marketing initiatives in alignment with branding standards.
Ensure accurate representation of property information across marketing platforms, including the property website and social media.
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Enhance resident satisfaction through effective lease renewal strategies and retention initiatives.
Act as a Fairfield ambassador by professionally addressing resident concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of hands-on property management experience
Experience in multifamily properties is essential
A proven supervisory track record is preferred.
Strong understanding of financial documents, including budgets and P&L statements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations is crucial.
Demonstrated success in maintaining occupancy and net operating income in multifamily management roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Industry certification is a plus.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Valid driver’s license is required.
COMPENSATION:
The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000-$87,000 annually, based on skills and experience.
