- Facilitate the recruitment and enrollment of children into the program.
- Implement culturally responsive strategies for addressing family needs.
- Contribute to the creation of educational materials and parent workshops.
- Guide parents in developing effective parenting techniques.
- Collaborate with program staff to maintain a high-quality child development environment.
- Availability for evening and weekend work as required.

Essential Functions: Family Support and Engagement
- Assist families in identifying their strengths, needs, and aspirations.
- Engage with a diverse community effectively.
- Support enrollment efforts for Early Head Start families.
- Facilitate smooth transitions for children.
- Organize and conduct parent meetings and educational sessions.
- Provide case management services to families.
- Conduct home visits and follow up on attendance.
- Advocate for children's services on behalf of parents.
- Monitor children's developmental milestones.
- Maintain open communication with families and the community.
- Address inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with program staff to ensure a safe environment.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Gather and compile necessary reporting data.
- Input information into data management systems.
- Ensure adherence to program policies.
- Maintain accurate children's records.
- Assist with documentation for program compliance.
- Uphold confidentiality standards.
- Participate in training and team meetings.
- Foster professional relationships with colleagues.
- Effectively manage conflicts as they arise.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Understanding of child development and family engagement principles.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Successful completion of background checks and medical evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Experience in working with children and families.
- Certification in Pediatric First Aid/CPR.
- Proficiency in Spanish or another language is a plus.
Employment Conditions:

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift children weighing up to 50 pounds safely.
- Engage in activities that involve standing, walking, and sitting.
