As an Employee Engagement Partner at Tesla, you will play a pivotal role in driving workforce engagement and delivering high-quality solutions for employees across the organization. This position can be based in various locations, including Austin, TX, Fremont, CA, Buffalo, NY, or Sparks, NV.

  • Drive an employee-centric mindset across the business by advising, mentoring, and guiding people leaders and supervisors to develop positive employee engagement capability and leadership skills.
  • Conduct trainings and roundtables on employee sentiment and related engagement topics at various locations companywide, analyzing data to identify trends and potential risk areas associated with climate surveys and assessments.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and help develop and implement innovative solutions and policies.
  • Collaborate with HR, Employee Relations, Legal, and business leaders to facilitate organizational changes and respond to employee feedback, analyzing and revising people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations.
  • Drive fair and transparent responses to employee engagement matters, participating in or managing projects led by the Engagement team as needed.
  • Support human resources leadership in formulating, determining, and effectuating management policies regarding HR, including special access to confidential and sensitive personnel communication and records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 5+ years' experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Manufacturing, Employment Law, or Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws, including the National Labor Relations Act.
  • Thorough understanding and application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
  • A knack for managing projects or experience successfully implementing programs across geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization, including remote areas and in Manufacturing environments.
  • Proactive and self-directed with ability to manage/complete multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to company sites.

Expected Compensation $74,800 - $211,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
