Position Overview
This role, known as the Financial Services Representative, encompasses various titles such as Teller, Client Service Specialist, and Member Services Associate.

At FirstBank, we recognize your expertise as a "specialist" in delivering exceptional client service. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, specializing in the financial products and services that cater to their immediate and long-term needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Uphold our Bank's culture by welcoming clients with a friendly and professional demeanor, striving to greet them by name whenever possible.
- Foster ongoing relationships with clients by efficiently processing transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing, with accuracy and courtesy.
- Promote the use of alternative banking solutions by effectively communicating the benefits of services such as Online Banking, Online Bill Pay, ATM/ITM networks, Debit Cards, and the Client Contact Center.
- Safeguard the interests of both the Bank and our clients by adhering to all security, regulatory, and audit protocols, including daily balancing of teller drawers and vaults as necessary.
- Maintain proper dual control and appropriate holds, ensuring accurate daily cash drawer balancing and promptly reporting discrepancies to management.
- Enhance personal development by actively pursuing knowledge of all Bank products through training sessions, branch meetings, and corporate communications.
- Contribute to the Bank's success by identifying sales opportunities and directing clients to the appropriate departments, working towards branch and individual sales goals.
- Drive profitability and client satisfaction by understanding client needs and encouraging them to consider additional Bank products that may benefit them.Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A minimum of 12 months of client service experience is preferred
- Previous cash-handling experience is required
- Banking experience is strongly preferred
- NLMS registration is preferred
- Strong customer service skills, including effective written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in using a PC and alpha/numeric keyboard
- Flexibility in work schedule, including potential Saturday shifts
- U.S. Military Veterans are encouraged to apply
