Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Matrix Providers. As a CMA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering top-notch services.

Job Summary:

The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing various clinical and administrative tasks, including preparing examination rooms, assisting with patient check-ins and admissions, and maintaining accurate patient records. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits
  • Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, and discharges
  • Take and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
  • Obtain and document patient medical history, allergies, and medications
  • Perform diagnostic procedures as ordered by healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Assist with laboratory and radiology procedures
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering supplies
Requirements:
  • Certificate in Medical Assisting from an accredited program
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from a recognized organization
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a CMA in an outpatient family practice or primary care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
