Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, FL. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing healthcare services to our Military Service Members and their families.

Job Summary:

The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers with patient care, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate medical records. This is a full-time position with a competitive financial package and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and maintain accurate medical records
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing medical records
  • Assist with laboratory and radiology procedures
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Certificate in Medical Assisting or related field
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient family practice or primary care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
