Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant - Family Medicine

Matrix Providers is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at the Naval Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. As a CMA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical team in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CMA to assist with patient check-ins, vital sign measurements, and laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits
  • Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, and discharges
  • Measure and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
  • Assist with medication administration and inventory management
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Certificate in Medical Assisting from an accredited program
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from a recognized organization
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a CMA in an outpatient setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
