Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Matrix Providers in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, assisting with patient check-ins and admissions, and performing diagnostic procedures as ordered. You will also be responsible for maintaining examination room stock levels and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare examination rooms before patient arrival
  • Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, and discharges
  • Check patient vital signs and document medical history
  • Perform diagnostic procedures as ordered
  • Maintain examination room stock levels and perform routine maintenance tasks
Requirements:
  • Certificate in Medical Assisting
  • Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES
  • Certification as a medical assistant by AAMA, AMT, or RMA
  • Minimum one year of full-time experience as a CMA in an outpatient family practice or primary care setting
