About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and multilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Texas Association of School Boards. As a key member of our contact center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and external parties, resolving complex issues, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective responses to customer inquiries, resolving issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Analyze and resolve complex policy, account, and claims-related inquiries, exercising sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to identify and address trending issues, proposing solutions and gaining buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus one year of work experience, or the equivalent of five years of work experience in a complex problem-solving role.
  • Prior experience in claims handling and/or contact centers is considered beneficial.
  • Possess high standards for service delivery, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to adapt to change, meet the changing demands of the work environment, and handle ambiguity with a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products and web-based applications, with a minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.
  • Bilingual (speak, read, write) in Spanish is required.
