Job Description

The Washington Ballet is seeking a skilled Teaching Artist to join our team. As a Teaching Artist, you will be responsible for bringing the joy and artistry of dance to our community through various programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach dance classes to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement arts integration lesson plans in partnership with classroom teachers.
  • Assist with the development of TWB's school programs curriculum.
  • Represent The Washington Ballet in the community through outreach and engagement activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of teaching experience.
  • Expert knowledge of at least one dance genre.
  • Able to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
