Job Summary:
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Diagnostic Imaging department located within the Covington Hospital.

Shift/Hours:
Full-Time - 40 hours/week, First Shift

Job Description:
As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing vascular studies on patients that support treatment and diagnosis of vascular disease. You will use a variety of specialized equipment to perform and report on Non-Invasive Vascular studies.

You will demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Vascular Hemodynamics and be skilled in the use of vascular testing equipment. Experience with Color Flow Vascular Imaging is also required.

Qualifications


Education, Credentials, Licenses:
Graduate of an accredited (or accreditation eligible) cardiovascular ultrasound degree program and/or qualifying experience in accordance with IAC guidelines.
Registered in non-invasive imaging with active status registry from ARDMS or CCI. New graduates will have 1 year after graduating to obtain registry.

Specialized Knowledge:
Excellent understanding of Vascular Hemodynamics. Skilled use of vascular testing equipment. Experience with Color Flow Vascular Imaging. Ability to give preliminary interpretations.
