Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We're seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals in the Diagnostic Imaging department. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of imaging equipment, including x-ray machines, to produce high-quality diagnostic images for our patients. Your exceptional communication skills will also be essential in explaining procedures to patients and families, easing anxiety, and addressing concerns.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Demonstrate technical skills and knowledge in the use of all x-ray equipment, protocols, and procedures to produce high-quality exams
- Explain procedures to patients and families, answer questions, ease anxiety, and address concerns
- Recognize clinical and/or emergent problems that may interfere with exams and take appropriate action for a positive outcome
- Evaluate critical test findings and review anatomic details and abnormalities on scans with radiologists if needed
- Maintain supply levels, clean and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and report dangerous conditions to the appropriate person
- Input and verify all data in PACS/RADIANT
- Maintain a safe environment for everyone and follow all quality control checks
- Ensure continuity of care, efficient throughput, consistent communications, and an exceptional experience for every patient

**Requirements:**

- ARRT and CPR certification
- State of Louisiana Radiology Technologist license
- Three to five years radiology experience (preferred)

**Benefits:**

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
