We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative II to join our team at Graphic Packaging International. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for managing major customer accounts, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring seamless communication between internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage major customer accounts through effective communication and relationship-building
- Develop and maintain customer relationships through superior service and communication
- Work closely with plant and department managers to ensure materials meet customer specifications
- Effectively handle strategic accounts, exhibiting leadership and developing areas of expertise
- Assist in root cause problem-solving surrounding customer issues and concerns
- Manage order quantities to maximize shipping capabilities and anticipate customer needs
- Participate in training, skill-building, and knowledge transfer on processes and systems
- Demonstrate competency in SAP and PRD systems and functionality required for order entry, management, tracking, and problem resolution
- Execute order close to ensure a clean order book and utilize various reports to manage customer orders
- Maintain a positive and proactive relationship with Sales, CTE, Planning, Scheduling, and Converting facilities
- Build a positive rapport and maintain effective relationships with customers
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience required
- Basic knowledge of global supply chain (demand planning, supply planning, warehouse and transportation, manufacturing)
- Prior successful Customer Service experience, a proven track record of accomplishment in working in an environment servicing internal and external customers
- Microsoft Office, specifically Excel skills, required
- Overall understanding and experience with ERP business applications. A strong knowledge of SAP is highly recommended
