The Contested Environments System Analysis group aims to deliver successful solutions for national challenges. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of radiation engineering.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to engineering decisions based on radiation effects analysis.
  • Design, harden, and verify system performance across multiple radiation effects.
  • Ensure radiation hardening throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive innovative solutions to complex problems with limited direction.
  • Lead small teams towards program goals and foster trust within the team.
  • Apply analysis techniques across various technical challenges.
  • Mitigate program/system-level technical risks.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Radiation Engineering or related field.
