Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various health conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct routine check-ups, perform medical procedures, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant medicine or Health Sciences, or graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Training Program.
- Current License as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice, NCCPA Certified, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Eligible for Prescriptive Authority in the state of practice as outlined by the State Board of Medical Examiners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
