Academic Coach

Montana Tech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Coach to join our team. As an Academic Coach, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic success of our students.
Job Summary:The Academic Coach will work closely with students to identify barriers to their academic success and develop individualized plans to overcome these challenges. You will also work with faculty and staff to provide wrap-around services for students and collaborate with other campus resources to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities:- Assist students in identifying barriers to their academic success and develop individualized plans to overcome these challenges.
- Work with faculty and staff to provide wrap-around services for students.
- Collaborate with other campus resources to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
- Develop and present workshops and lessons for students on academic success strategies and college readiness.
- Assess the effectiveness of coaching sessions and workshops and implement modifications as needed.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to adhere to FERPA regulations.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Background similar to participants.
- Experience working in higher education.
- Experience working with underrepresented students.
