Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and evaluate damage caused by water, fire, and biohazards in both residential and commercial properties.
  • Conduct water extraction and mitigation efforts to minimize further damage.
  • Restore structures affected by fire and smoke damage.
  • Manage microbial growth (mold) through effective remediation techniques.
  • Assist in the cleanup of vandalism, crime scenes, and biohazard situations (additional training may be provided).
  • Perform necessary demolition tasks.
  • Pack out, process, deodorize, and securely store contents from affected structures.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with empathy during challenging times.
  • Operate and maintain restoration equipment effectively.
  • Conduct warehouse upkeep, manage supplies, and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working at heights, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Comply with all relevant EPA, OSHA, and local safety regulations regarding hazardous materials.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in restoration services.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Availability to work 40+ hours weekly, including weekends and on-call rotations.
  • Possession of a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to respond to emergency situations after hours and on weekends.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with IICRC certifications is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Professional appearance for client interactions is essential.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
