Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned construction projects, focusing on customer engagement and effective communication.
  • Manage vendor selection, procurement of materials, project scheduling, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to guarantee satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Participate in an On-Call Team, which may require availability during nights and weekends.

Field Management Duties:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate your project management capabilities.
  • Obtain necessary building permits and adhere to all relevant regulations.
  • Assist the Project Director with managing change orders and oversee site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Drive safety, quality, and productivity on-site while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Complete all project tasks, including buyout processes, submittals, scheduling, and project closeout.

Office Management Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all subcontractors operate under proper agreements in line with best practices.
  • Review and approve invoices in collaboration with your project team.
  • Maintain accurate records of project costs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Create and present project schedules to customers and management on a weekly basis.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to foster their professional growth.
  • Represent BluSky professionally during emergency on-call management rotations.
  • Track change orders and manage budget updates effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Expertise in project management processes, financial oversight, and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in technology and software relevant to project management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and local authorities.
  • Experience in multi-family, hotel, and multi-building facility construction.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Travel Requirements:

The Project Supervisor will be expected to travel as needed based on project demands, including potential overnight stays.
