DPG Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled Windows System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related Windows infrastructure for our classified programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide computing support to classified programs in Windows desktop and server environments
- Troubleshoot and fix incidents related to engineering software and hardware
- Assist in designing, implementing, and supporting Windows environments with emphasis on supporting 2016 and 2019 server platforms
- Manage client agents for server monitoring as well as agents for server management
- Proactive management of infrastructure to help maintain a healthy environment
- Administer Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory and group policy
- Build workstations on bare metal hardware using automation tools such as MDT, WDS or Ghost
- Partner with and be mentored by senior system admins
- Self-started and self-motivated to learn new things
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
- Windows desktops (Windows 10)
- Windows server 2016, 2019 installation and maintenance
- Systems deployment, administration, performance tuning, and monitoring
- Experience with HP server and storage hardware
- Experience with VMware VSphere (ESXi, vCenter, etc)
- Experience with Storage – HP MSA, RAID configuration
