Job Summary:

Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations is seeking an experienced IT professional to support the Space business area classified program areas located in the Littleton, CO US office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the ongoing operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of multiple classified IT program environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installing, configuring, securing, hardening, remediating, testing, troubleshooting, upgrading, and decommissioning of network switches, virtual servers, physical servers, client workstations, and network-attached storage equipment.
  • Providing application support to program engineers to ensure a successful synergy between program deliverables and the underlying IT infrastructure.
  • Ensuring that the Space IT systems are managed, controlled, and compliant with the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Requirements:
  • Active DOD Secret clearance (investigation within 5 years or a candidate on "continuous evaluation")
  • US Citizenship required for access to the work facility
  • Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security+, CASP, CISSP)
  • Proven experience administering Microsoft's Windows Server (i.e. 2012, 2016, or 2019) operating system functions, security policies, and technical security safeguards
  • Ability to move, rack, stack, and install physical equipment by lifting up to 35 lbs.
  • Previous Systems Administration background with experience supporting United States Government classified environments/networks
  • Five (5) or more years of system administration and/or engineering experience with computer systems
  • Experience with Windows Servers 2012R2/2016/2019
  • Understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, WSUS, and the ability to maintain other Windows core services
  • Knowledge of various protocols such as DNS, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, and SSH protocols
  • Comprehension of NTFS file share permissions
  • Fundamental understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, LDAP, and NTLM and use of necessary tools to troubleshoot them
  • User account management, administration, access/controls, and support
  • Installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals

Desired Skills:
  • Direct knowledge of the CPS/HSWS Program
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting a plus
  • Understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and WSUS
  • Knowledge of various protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, and SSH protocols
  • Experience with RHEL 6, 7, and/or 8 administration, configuration, security, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with High Performance Compute (HPC) systems
  • Understanding of Certificate Authorities (CA) and Public Key Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of ICD-503 compliance
  • Proven experience developing and documenting standard operating procedures and infrastructure diagram

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington, or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
