Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient scheduling and appointments across multiple phone lines.
  • Collect new patient information and track all patient referrals.
  • Provide information to patients and facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain logs of all reports sent to physicians.
  • Process payments and verify insurance details.
  • Handle incoming mail and distribute it appropriately.
  • Send necessary paperwork to billing companies.
  • Coordinate all scheduling and related communications.
  • Answer phone inquiries and serve as a liaison for patients, addressing questions from current and prospective clients.
  • Schedule evaluations, reminders, and cancellations for patients.
  • Collect intake information for new patients and monitor clinic referrals.
  • Fax reports to physicians and maintain a record of incoming documents.
  • Verify insurance coverage and track visits covered by insurance.
  • Communicate with the office manager and clinical staff regarding patient arrivals and scheduling.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, integrity, and empathy towards individuals in distress.
