FP&A Senior Analyst

The FP&A Senior Analyst role encompasses a wide range of financial responsibilities related to planning, analysis, and reporting functions. This includes regular reporting of financial outcomes, forecasts, the annual budgeting process, and the 5-year strategic plan, alongside providing financial support to various business units such as sales, marketing, supply chain, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of the 5-year plan, budget, and forecasts at both the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet levels, ensuring timely submission through corporate reporting tools.
  • Generate specific reports on net working capital, focusing on receivables and payables for budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closure.
  • Compile reports for non-filler capital expenditure tracking and forecasting.
  • Support the analysis and reporting of current financial results, highlighting variations against forecasts, budgets, and prior year results through explanatory bridges, and assist in preparing the month-end closing presentation for senior management.
  • Facilitate the preparation of essential information for month-end closing and planning processes, particularly regarding price, volume, mix, and other revenue and EBITDA variations, as well as balance sheet fluctuations for cash flow reports.
  • Oversee net price control for the USA entity by customer and product hierarchy, and in specific instances by brand/SKU.
  • Assist the FP&A Manager in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of financial systems and reports within planning repositories.
  • Prepare internal reports to monitor sales mix and margin, enabling effective communication and action planning with senior management.
  • Utilize Excel, Business Intelligence, and BH1 software to generate, manipulate, and summarize data, while effectively communicating findings and analyses with finance and operational teams.
  • Participate in customer business case/project valuation approvals in collaboration with the sales team to ensure financial model KPIs align with financial requirements.
You bring these skills, experience & education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in corporate FP&A.
  • Proficient in calculating comprehensive profit and loss forecasts and balance sheets.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel, including advanced functions such as SUMIF, VLOOKUP, nested functions, complex pivot tables, and macros.
  • Ability to work with data, create financial models, and generate ad-hoc reports, preferably using MS Power BI or Qlikview.
