  • COMPENSATION: $25-45 PER HOUR, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
  • SIGN-ON BONUS OF UP TO $3,000, BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:
This role involves the installation of refrigeration systems in accordance with customer specifications, relevant building codes, and proper piping techniques.

  • Assist in construction projects by piping cooler boxes and refrigeration cases, including necessary electrical wiring.
  • Install pipe hangers as directed by the foreman.
  • Provide construction support through welding and slip-hosing copper pipes, assisting the foreman as required.
  • Handle cooler box coils and install new or remodeled supermarket refrigeration systems.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent with relevant trade or technical school training.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction sector, with hands-on field experience in commercial refrigeration, electrical, and/or fixture installation.
  • EPA Certification (Type II).
  • Proficiency in copper brazing and market remodeling.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Understanding of electrical systems and capability to wire installations.
  • Familiarity with carpentry.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems and piping techniques.
  • Understanding of plumbing and pipe fittings, with the ability to pipe refrigeration equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints related to refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Competence in hanging evaporation coils and installing overhead hangers.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools with strong mechanical skills.
  • Awareness of job site safety, ensuring compliance with safety practices and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
