Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the maintenance and operation of all communications systems and related equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and complex troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to analyze and repair equipment at the component level.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately in the Integrated Equipment Management System (IEMS).
- Develop and review operational procedures and work instructions for communication systems.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and practices.
- Perform maintenance at various levels, including organizational and depot-level tasks.
- Support the integration of new equipment and coordinate with other technicians for seamless operations.
- Manage frequency usage and maintain communication system integrity.
- Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Formal education in electronic equipment maintenance or communications security.
- A minimum of seven years of relevant technical experience.
- Proficiency in tactical data information links and digital radio management systems.
- Strong background in SATCOM operations and electronic maintenance across various platforms.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work under diverse environmental conditions.
- Must obtain and maintain necessary certifications and security clearances.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
