WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are looking for a highly skilled individual to take on the role of Global IT Security Solutions Architect as we strive to develop a Gen AI Assistant that will revolutionize our operational processes. In this position, you will engage in Security Engineering, Architecture, and Automation across BCG's
international framework to facilitate enhancements driven by the latest trends. The
ideal candidate will be tasked with establishing forward-looking strategies for BCG's security,
particularly in relation to Gen AI offerings. As a Global IT Security Solutions Architect, your responsibilities will include
designing and crafting solutions that align with our security requirements while ensuring scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. You will:
  • Tackle security challenges associated with Generative AI, focusing on access and encryption for storage solutions such as Vector DB and Graph DB.
  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise and Security Architecture teams to comprehend their security needs and devise appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct security design and application architecture assessments utilizing risk evaluation and threat modeling (e.g., STRIDE-LM) in enterprise settings.
  • Create and disseminate secure design patterns and secure coding guidance across various languages and platforms, including APIs, hybrid multi-region cloud infrastructures, and containers.
  • Implement Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry benchmarks (e.g., NIST SSDF, OWASP Top 10, SAMM, ASVS).
  • Utilize vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing techniques to identify and address application vulnerabilities.
  • Manage and oversee security technologies, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and secrets management systems.
  • Partner with solution architects and engineering teams to integrate security recommendations at the architectural level.
  • Oversee projects, including technical planning, design specifications, vendor assessments, and reporting.
  • Adapt to dynamic environments with evolving schedules and priorities.
  • Conduct security evaluations of network designs and implementations.
  • Operate within an Agile framework.
  • Prepare and review monthly status reports and metrics.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Securing global networks and computing environments with cutting-edge security technologies, including Next-Gen Firewalls, Cloud Native Firewalls, IPS, DDOS, ACLs, and other hardware, preferably utilizing automation tools and practices for consistency and repeatability.
  • Engineering and implementing Zero Trust remote access solutions and other third-party connectivity solutions.
  • Maintaining a knowledge base and 'as built' documentation for all network security services.
  • Modifying and maintaining connectivity for Cloud Computing environments.
  • Effectively interfacing and connecting with both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Functioning in an Agile environment while leveraging strong work management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Negotiating and building consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities, demonstrating well-honed influencing skills.
  • Managing challenging and high-pressure situations with composure, tact, and patience, while exhibiting a sense of urgency.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • BA degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of design, implementation, and consulting experience in distributed applications and security/compliance-related work.
  • 5+ years of software development and AI/ML or related technology domain experience.
  • 10+ years of security/compliance-related work experience.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of network security engineering experience with large-scale implementations distributed globally.
  • Proven expertise in network and Cloud security architecture, design, and best practices to support a globally distributed environment across multiple platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience addressing security challenges in multi-tenant data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Native technologies, such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and DNS.
  • Experience with NextGen and Cloud Native Firewalls, as well as intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong organizational, written communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in cloud security for platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of encryption technologies and their implementation.
  • Capability to conduct thorough security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with IAM, including SSO, access control, and user provisioning.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and interpreting results.
  • CISSP and other security certifications preferred.
