The successful candidate will possess a strategic mindset and a profound knowledge of cybersecurity principles, enabling them to design, implement, and oversee effective security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold a comprehensive security framework that aligns with organizational goals and compliance mandates.
  • Evaluate and manage security vulnerabilities within the organization, proposing and executing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Architect and deploy security measures to safeguard systems, data, and applications.
  • Remain informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies, integrating them into the security framework.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the development process.
  • Produce and maintain clear, precise, and comprehensive security architecture documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and managing security protocols for large-scale, distributed systems and applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in environments necessitating compliance controls (NIST CSF/CMMC preferred).
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure.
  • Possession of one or more relevant certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305).
  • CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP certification is required.
  • Experience with DevSecOps tools and automation platforms such as Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Aptitude for conveying complex technical concepts in a straightforward and concise manner.
  • Strong documentation abilities to create and maintain accurate security architecture records.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in creating and presenting detailed security architecture diagrams.
