Position Overview: We are in search of a highly skilled individual to assume the role of Global IT Security Solutions Architect. This position is pivotal as we endeavor to create a Gen AI Assistant that will revolutionize operational methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in Security Engineering, Architecture, and Automation across BCG's international framework to enhance and support advancements driven by innovative trends.
- Design and develop security solutions that align with the organizational requirements, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct security design and application architecture evaluations utilizing risk assessment and threat modeling techniques.
- Establish secure design patterns and provide secure coding guidance across various programming languages and platforms, including APIs and cloud environments.
- Implement Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps methodologies alongside relevant tools.
- Utilize vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing strategies to identify and address application vulnerabilities.
- Oversee the implementation and management of security technologies, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Lead projects encompassing technical planning, design specifications, vendor assessments, and reporting.
- Perform security evaluations of network designs and implementations.
- Operate within an Agile framework to secure global networks and computing environments using advanced security technologies.
- Engineer and deploy Zero Trust remote access solutions and third-party connectivity options.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all network security services.
- Adapt connectivity for Cloud Computing environments as necessary.
- Exhibit strong organizational and planning capabilities while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Facilitate negotiations and consensus-building among stakeholders with competing priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
- Approximately 10+ years of experience in design, implementation, and consulting for distributed applications and security/compliance.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development and AI/ML or related technology domains.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in network security engineering with large-scale global implementations.
- Demonstrated expertise in network and cloud security architecture, design, and best practices.
- Experience in addressing security challenges within multi-tenant data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Cloud Native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and DNS.
- Experience with NextGen and Cloud Native Firewalls, as well as intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive security risk assessments and formulate mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of encryption technologies and their application.
- Experience with IAM, including Single Sign-On (SSO), access control, and user provisioning.
- Proficiency in interpreting results from vulnerability scanning tools.
