Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Food and Nutrition
  • Completion of an accredited internship program
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical healthcare environment
  • Familiarity with dietary assessments related to MDS for residents

Responsibilities include:

As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will conduct initial, quarterly, annual, and significant change nutritional assessments for residents in compliance with federal and state regulations. You will collaborate with the Dietary Supervisor to coordinate nutrition care services and perform monthly nutritional evaluations on high-risk residents, including those experiencing significant weight fluctuations, pressure ulcers, or requiring specialized feeding methods.
