Procurement Specialist

The Purchasing Associate will play a crucial role in acquiring goods, materials, and services to meet the operational requirements of the company, ensuring that considerations of cost, quality, and timely delivery are prioritized to maintain a steady supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and submit purchase orders in accordance with established protocols to fulfill urgent demands efficiently.
  • Verify that invoices received from vendors align with the projected forecasts.
  • Conduct daily reviews of outstanding purchase orders to guarantee accuracy and timely deliveries.
  • Address potential issues through proactive communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the payment process for purchase orders by matching invoices to corresponding line items.
  • Engage with internal clients and vendors to resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders.
  • Manage purchase order lifecycle by ensuring their completion and closure.
  • Assist in the onboarding of suppliers and manage contract agreements in collaboration with the Procurement Coordinator.
  • Ensure that vendors comply with established standards of compliance.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze and manipulate data effectively.
  • Ensure all purchase orders adhere to the Procurement Policy.
  • Minimal travel may be required, not exceeding 10%.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field from an accredited institution, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: $66,560 - $66,570 per year

Shift: Regular full-time
