AECOM is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting a significant infrastructure initiative by creating procurement documentation and overseeing procurement activities for capital projects and other major acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, revise, and evaluate contracts related to alternative delivery methods.
- Engage in collaborative groups to identify best practices for procurement processes.
- Facilitate procurement operations for capital contracts.
- Coordinate with various departments to develop procurement documentation.
- Assist in preparing responses to RFIs and manage communications with proposers.
- Support industry review processes and related meetings.
- Help ensure quality assurance and quality control of procurement documents.
- Maintain updates of standard procurement documents and related logs.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on scopes, pricing sheets, and solicitation documents to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Plan procurement activities and establish pre-award timelines for contracts.
- Request quotes and prepare solicitation documents for bids and proposals.
- Organize pre-bid and proposal meetings to present projects to potential bidders.
- Draft award recommendations and prepare necessary reports.
- Attend various meetings, including pre-bid conferences and post-award debriefings.
- Monitor compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Juris Doctor Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in drafting contracts such as Alternative Delivery contracts, P3/Public and Private Partnership Contracts, Design Build Contracts, and Progressive Design Build Contracts. A minimum of 2 years of experience with alternative delivery capital projects. Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws related to contracts and procurement.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Sponsorship is offered. Compensation will be based on individual qualifications and experience.
