We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to fill a vital role in our organization.

The Desktop Support Technician will be tasked with delivering technical assistance and upkeep for internal computing systems, workstations, and associated devices. This position is essential for ensuring the efficient functioning of hardware and equipment through the installation, diagnosis, repair, and enhancement of systems as necessary. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges promptly, providing end-user training and support, and may engage in various project-related activities. Additional responsibilities will be undertaken as needed to bolster the IT department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and sustain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Identify and rectify technical problems associated with desktops and other hardware.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on systems to guarantee peak performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and precise manner.
  • Deliver end-user training and assistance on hardware and software.
  • Support IT projects and other assignments as directed by the IT Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in desktop support or a comparable position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10-11, SCCM, and Microsoft Intune is advantageous.
  • Experience with computer imaging.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills for effective end-user interaction and training.
