Assistant Property Manager Job Description

PURE Property Management is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager in maintaining excellent resident relations, communicating with residents, and ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Property Manager in communicating with residents, both verbally and in writing, regarding maintenance requests, rent payments, and lease renewals.
  • Maintain accurate records in our property management software, ensuring timely completion of work orders and adherence to estimated costs.
  • Support the Property Manager in the lease renewal process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and coordinate the Move-In and Move-Out process with tenants, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Prepare notices and routine correspondence as directed by the Property Manager.
  • Respond to and follow up with prospective residents interested in available properties.
  • Communicate with residents throughout the rent collection process, ensuring timely payments and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Assist in the preparation of Security Deposit Disposition, adhering to all state laws and company policies.
  • Prepare leases, confirming all necessary addendums and attachments are included before presenting for signature to tenants.
  • Ensure all property and tenant information is accurately documented in our property management software.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License in CA
  • CA Real Estate License preferred but not required
  • Residential Property Management Experience
  • Operational vehicle for some use in the job required
