Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional to support students' communication needs in a diverse educational environment.

Job Summary: This full-time, full-year contract position involves assisting the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments and implementing therapy plans. The ideal candidate will have experience working with bilingual students and be fluent in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments under the supervision of the Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Implement therapy plans developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist to support student communication goals.
  • Provide direct speech and language services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Support bilingual students in both English and Spanish.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid SLPA license in Texas.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
