Speech Therapy Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Magnolia area. This is a full-time position that will begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of the 24/25 school year.

Job Overview

  • This SLPA role involves collaborating with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement speech and language therapy programs for students.
  • You will work with individuals or small groups to address communication goals, providing support in the assessment and documentation of students' progress.
  • Additionally, you will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a holistic and effective support system.
  • Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to the development of educational plans are also essential aspects of this role.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is required.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this position.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is also essential.

  • We offer a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
