As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant at Magnolia ISD, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with speech and language disorders. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional educational services, and we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join us in this important role.

About the Position:
This full-time position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program, as well as successful completion of a minimum of one hundred hours of supervised field work experience or clinical experience equivalent. Additionally, you must hold a Texas Speech Language Pathology Assistant License and possess three years of successful experience as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant. We also require excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to utilize instructional strategies that address articulation, language, and other communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
This role involves providing individual and group therapy to students consistent with speech and language goals contained in Individual Education Plans (IEPs). You will also conduct speech and language screenings without interpretation, utilizing screening protocols specified by the supervising speech language pathologist. Furthermore, you will assist the SLP in collecting and tallying data for assessment purposes without interpretation, attend ARDs as required, create an environment conducive to learning, compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other required documents, and comply with policies established by federal and state laws, State Board of Education rule, and board policy.

Salary Information:
The estimated salary range for this position is between $40,000 and $60,000 per year, based on location and level of experience. This figure does not include additional forms of compensation or benefits that may be offered by the district. Please note that salaries may vary depending on qualifications and negotiations.
