Job OverviewThis temporary position requires a dynamic individual who can assist in organizing, leading, and implementing recreational activities and trips while ensuring participant safety and rule compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to program participants and their parents/guardians
- Monitor and supervise participants during program hours to ensure their well-being and safety
- Assist with set-up and clean-up of program activities and trips
- Coordinate, organize, and implement program activities and trips
- Maintain accurate records and confidentially of participant information
- Build rapport with participants, create a fun environment, and work effectively as a team member
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
- A minimum of 15 years of age or older
- Experience in recreation, volunteerism, or participation in recreation activities (desired)
- Obligation to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certifications within the first week of work (training provided)
- Additional job-specific training and certifications may be required
- Varying work environment, including indoor and outdoor settings
- Possibility of working in inclement weather
- Physical ability to participate in activities and support children's needs
The estimated annual salary for this position is $16,368. This is a non-benefited temporary position.
