Role Summary: As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests experience the warmth of Hawaiian hospitality at both the ticket counter and the boarding gate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an authentic Hawaiian hospitality experience to all guests.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills while managing a fast-paced work environment.
- Assist guests with check-in procedures and provide support during boarding.
Interview Process:
The selection process includes:
- A brief telephone interview.
- A group video interview.
- A final in-person interview at our airport office.
Compensation and Benefits:
This role is governed by a collective bargaining agreement, with compensation structured according to the San Francisco Minimum Wage Compensation Ordinance. The hourly wage for this position is $19.05, supplemented by a medical reimbursement contribution of $9.50 per hour. This is a part-time role requiring a minimum of 19 hours weekly, with flight benefits available.
Work Schedule:
Schedules are determined based on seniority and operational needs. New employees may be assigned shifts that require flexibility, with morning shifts starting as early as 4:30 AM and evening shifts beginning at 6:30 PM. Shifts typically range from 4 to 5 days per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. for guest baggage handling.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts.
- Completion of pre-employment drug testing and background checks is mandatory.
- No visible body art while in uniform.
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the airline industry.
- Background in customer service within the hospitality sector.
