Key Responsibilities- Identify and qualify potential business opportunities in the Federal Civilian market
- Develop and execute account and sales plans to drive growth and revenue
- Leverage customer experience and existing relationships with agencies and industry partners
- Maximize current contract vehicles to earn work via task orders and identify new contract vehicles to pursue
- Develop business development strategies that align with target agencies
- Lead the pursuit of opportunities, working with multidisciplinary teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle
- Ensure opportunities are successfully moved through the opportunity lifecycle
- Present strategic deals and pipelines to executive leadership teams
- Five or more years of experience at FDA/CDER pursuing new business and writing winning proposals
- Exhibits a deep understanding of government contracting and target agencies
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage multi-agency, multi-year pipelines
- A strategic mindset with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Experience cultivating and managing pipelines, forecasting, and closing deals
