Your Role
As a Senior Equipment & Controls Engineer within our Manufacturing Division, you will provide essential technical leadership to optimize our production processes. Your expertise will be pivotal in addressing production challenges and enhancing equipment design to ensure operational excellence. You will contribute significantly to our long-term objectives by driving improvements in process efficiency, reliability, and safety, enabling our manufacturing team to meet the growing demands of our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for production equipment and controls, proactively addressing operational challenges.
  • Analyze production metrics, investigate anomalies, and implement corrective actions to sustain high overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Collaborate with design teams to influence future equipment and factory designs based on operational feedback.
  • Facilitate the implementation of scalable manufacturing systems that promote efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Mentor and support team members through effective communication and training.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in production or manufacturing equipment and controls within industries such as automotive, semiconductor, or battery manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of complex production equipment, including pneumatic systems, pumps, and control technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C#, Python) and industrial control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA).
  • Experience in leading project teams and managing large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing safety systems and tools, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to wear respiratory protection and personal protective equipment.
  • Willingness to provide production support during non-standard hours.
  • Capability to move between buildings and remain stationary for extended periods.

Compensation
The starting base salary for this position ranges from $137,000 to $174,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This role also includes a comprehensive Total Rewards package, which may consist of benefits, equity, and bonuses.
